Food
Reliable access to food that fuels learning, play, and everyday life.
We support 80+ orphaned and vulnerable children with food, education, and daily care – for a better today and a brighter tomorrow.
Bwindi Children Empowerment Charity (BCEC) is a registered, nonprofit community-based organization in Buhoma, in the Bwindi region of Uganda.
Many children here lack access to basic necessities, care, and education. With the help of local partners and global donors, we are changing that – one child at a time.
Reliable access to food that fuels learning, play, and everyday life.
Access to basic healthcare, treatment, and checkups when children need it most.
School fees, supplies, and support that open the door to a brighter future.
Confidence that prepares children for independence and adulthood.
A place to gather for meals, care, guidance, and community – even for children who don’t live here. A safe place to live and sleep for those who do.
Our founder Akansasira Labour was raised by six families in Buhoma. A sponsor changed his life – and now he’s giving back to his village.
Founded in 2021 with just seven orphans under our care, we’re proof that heart and hard work can make all the difference.
